The Israeli FM believes a trip to Saudi Arabia is possible.
in Tel Aviv Eli Cohen, the foreign minister of Israel, suggested on Wednesday that he would visit Saudi Arabia in the future and predicted that at least one more Arab nation will normalise relations with Israel this year.Speaking to Israel's Army Radio while on a state visit to Azerbaijan, he stated, "This (a visit to Saudi Arabia) is on the table, there is no date yet.Without going into any detail, Cohen stated that at least one more nation would join the Abraham Accords this year. According to him, this week's meeting between Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham included discussion of the need to normalise ties between Israel and Saudi Arabia.On Wednesday morning, Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the Palestinian Authority, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met in Jeddah to talk about the situation in the occupied Palestinian lands, according to the Palestinian WAFA news agency.
